Ensure SEPA mandate (Stripe)

Reuse the single active Stripe SEPA mandate, collect a new signature when none exists, and fail on ambiguity.

Objectif

Ensures a reusable SEPA mandate: the node completes immediately when an active mandate exists, otherwise it opens a Stripe Elements user action.

  • Before a first SEPA debit.
  • To avoid requesting an unnecessary new signature.

Behavior

Search for an active mandate

Queries Stripe for the supplied Customer.

Reuse when found

Completes immediately with reused_existing: true.

Collecter sinon

Creates an idempotent SetupIntent and places the process in waiting for the user action.

Return the objects

After confirmation, exposes typed mandate, PaymentMethod, and SetupIntent.
