Evaluate platform event (Sumsub)
Submits to Sumsub a non-financial platform event captured with Device Intelligence, then returns an operational decision without creating a business object.
Vue d’ensemble
Objectif
This node covers non-financial events: signup, login, password_reset, two_factor_reset, account_update, and custom.
It does not replace sumsub.evaluate_transaction: payments, payouts, and transfers remain financial transactions.
The device is a signal collected client-side with the Sumsub fisherman SDK, then attached to the event through device_access_token and session_id.
platform_event_evaluation is the main business output: it carries the decision, score, triggered rules, and device signals. The node produces neither compliance_check, nor platform risk_score, nor a draft.
Quand l’utiliser
- You want to assess a login, signup, password reset, or 2FA reset.
- You want to route a journey on a device/fraud signal before continuing.
- You want to send Device Intelligence signals to Sumsub without creating an Ormuz business object.
Parameters 6
onboarding_case provides the correlation anchor.account_update and custom are sent to Sumsub as general; other types are mapped to native Sumsub types.sumsub.generate_device_token and used by the fisherman SDK to capture the fingerprint.sumsub.evaluate_platform_event or sumsub.evaluate_transaction.props, userPlatformEventInfo.failure, or explicitly supplied applicant fields.Outputs 3
platform_event_evaluation.decision drives approved, rejected, review_required, and awaiting_user routes.platform_event_evaluation.decision.Behavior
Collect device signals
The process generates a token with sumsub.generate_device_token, the frontend initializes the fisherman SDK, then calls fingerprint().
Submit the event
The node sends a Sumsub type: userPlatformEvent transaction with the contact, event type, and Device Intelligence token.
Route the decision
When Sumsub returns a final decision, the process continues immediately. When the event enters review, the node waits for the correlated KYT webhook.
Process example
Device Intelligence is signal collection attached to a platform event, not an abstract device assessment.
