Outputs 1

credit_limitCredit limit
Canonical credit limit created with its source, validity period, and active/inactive status.

Behavior

The limit becomes an independent canonical resource. Multiple limits from different sources may coexist; the actually available limit is resolved separately by an explicit strategy.

Key point The credit ledger retains facts as movements. A correction produces a new explicit movement instead of silently rewriting a historical fact.

Limits and responsibilities

  • Creating a limit neither consumes nor by itself authorizes exposure.
  • An inactive or out-of-period limit must not contribute to the effective limit.
  • The source describes who owns the limit decision; it must not be used as a free-form tag.
