Behavior

The node adds a credit_consumption_reversed movement referring to the original consumed movement and decreases net exposure consumption.

Key point The credit ledger retains facts as movements. A correction produces a new explicit movement instead of silently rewriting a historical fact.

Limits and responsibilities

  • The supplied movement must be a credit_consumed movement from the same exposure.
  • Partial reversals are allowed, but their cumulative amount cannot exceed the original movement.
  • The operation preserves the original movement; it does not rewrite history.
