Create Agent Memory

Explicitly creates standalone Agent Memory owned by an Agent so it can be mapped into one or more later Agent Tasks.

Create Agent Memory
Explicit continuity
Agent Memory

Vue d’ensemble

Use this node when a process must explicitly create and manipulate Agent Memory as a typed object. The Agent Task consuming it then chooses Memory object and maps this output.

Exemple

Create Agent Memory for an analyst, link it to the company when needed, then use it in several successive Agent Tasks running different activities or different revisions of the same Agent.

Parameters 3

agentRequisref(agent_definition)
Agent to which the Agent Memory will belong. This selection is fixed in the process and does not become a business input to the Run.
labelOptionnelstring
Optional label used to identify work continuity on management and observability surfaces.
retention_daysRequisinteger
Requested retention period, from 1 to 365 days. Default: 30 days.

Outputs 1

memoryAgent memory
Created platform.agent_memory object, reusable by revisions of the same Agent.

Behavior

Choose the Agent

The created memory belongs to this Agent Definition. Another Agent Definition cannot use it.

Create explicit continuity

The node produces a platform.agent_memory object independent from an Agent role and independent from a specific revision.

Reuse without duplication

An idempotent replay of the same node in the same instance finds the same logical creation instead of multiplying memories.

Key point Later revisions of the same Agent may reuse this Agent Memory. The revision that created it remains provenance information, not a compatibility boundary.

Limits and responsibilities

  • The node creates no Agent role and does not implicitly associate memory with a process role.
  • Creating memory runs no Agent activity; a separate Agent Task must consume it.
  • Memory cannot be shared across different Agents.
  • Each mode is unavailable: creation represents one continuity for this node in the instance.
