Resolve contact(s)
Resolves the best usable contact for a company from valid roles, certification levels, and the configured selection strategy.
Vue d’ensemble
Objectif
This node selects an existing business contact without asking the process designer for a contact_id.
It relies on active contact_role resources to find a contact compatible with the business intent, for example a legal representative, billing contact, or payment authorizer.
The selected_contact output is a platform.contact usable by subsequent nodes, and selected_contact_role documents the relationship that justified selection.
Quand l’utiliser
- You need to address a request to a contact based on their role in the company.
- The process must route differently when no eligible contact exists.
- Several contacts may match and you must apply an explicit selection strategy.
Parameters 4
company.id and does not request a merchant_id.legal_representative, billing_contact, payment_authorizer, or main_contact. Order acts as priority with best_role_type_fit.declarative, verified, and certified.first preserves API resolution order, latest favors the newest role, most_certified favors the strongest certification, and best_role_type_fit favors the order of role_types.Outputs 5
true goes to found, false to not_found.Behavior
Validate the company
The node requires a platform.company object with an id. It exposes no merchant_id parameter.
Resolve candidates
The node searches contacts according to role and certification filters. Revoked roles or roles not valid at resolution time are excluded.
Apply the strategy
Matches are sorted by selection_strategy. The first sorted match becomes selected_contact; other unique contacts populate other_candidates.
Route the process
When a match exists, the node routes to found and exposes the selected contact. Otherwise it routes to not_found with null outputs and an empty candidate list.
Process example
The node chooses an eligible contact before a business request while preserving an explicit branch when no contact matches.
