Vue d’ensemble
Filters and then orders a typed collection without losing the concrete type of its elements.
Exemple
Select a company's open invoices, sort them by due date, then take the three highest-priority items.
Parameters 3
items
Typed collection supplied by a binding. The concrete element type is preserved or unified in outputs.
filters
Structured filter rules applied to element fields. Every rule must match for an element to be retained.
order_by
Structured sort rules evaluated in declared order, with ascending or descending direction.
Outputs 2
items
Resulting collection with the same concrete element type as the source collection.
count
Number of elements in the resulting collection.
Behavior
All filter rules must match. Sorting is stable and places null or missing values after defined values.
Key point Collection operations preserve the data classification carried by their elements; filtering, sorting, or concatenating a list is not declassification.
Limits and responsibilities
- Rules apply to fields present on elements; a missing value does not match ordinary comparisons.
- The node does not modify objects in the collection.
