Vue d’ensemble

Use this node when a URL must be produced inside the process — for example before a notification. For an integration that requests a URL directly from the API, use the public journey-link contract documented with User Journeys instead.

Exemple

Create access for the approver participant, then send the URL through a notification node compatible with secret-protection rules.

Parameters 2

participantRequisstring
Declared participant for whom User Journey access must be created.
expires_inOptionnelduration
ISO 8601 grant-validity duration. The node default is PT24H when no duration is supplied.

Outputs 4

urlurl
URL carrying the participant access grant. This value is classified as secret and must be sent only to its legitimate recipient.
participant_keystring
Key of the participant for whom the grant was created.
expires_atdatetime
Expiration date and time of this access grant.
access_grant_idstring
Identifier of the underlying grant, useful for traceability without exposing its secret URL.

Behavior

Resolve the participant

The node uses the participant key from the current instance.

Create the grant

The supplied ISO duration is converted to a validity period and a dedicated grant is created.

Protect the URL

The URL is retained as derived secret data; traceability can rely on access_grant_id without revealing the bearer URL.

Key point Possessing the URL is enough to exercise the grant's rights. Do not record it in normal metadata or display it on surfaces not intended for secrets.

Limits and responsibilities

  • The node works in the context of an instance and participant; it is not a generic public URL generator.
  • The duration must be a valid ISO 8601 duration.
  • Creating access does not complete any user action: it only lets the participant open the corresponding experience.
