Presents an intermediate message and then redirects the participant to an external URL configured by the process.

Presented context

User Journey
User response

Vue d’ensemble

Presents an intermediate message and then redirects the participant to an external URL configured by the process.

Exemple

Send the participant to a partner portal after an Ormuz step, with a few seconds of explanation before redirect.

Key point A user action suspends the instance until the interaction is resolved. The User Journey presents the action; the node remains the orchestration contract determining its inputs and outputs.

Parameters 7

titleRequisstring
Main title presented to the participant for this action in the User Journey.
descriptionOptionnelstring
Optional supporting text shown under the title to explain what is expected from the participant.
target_urlRequisurl
External URL to which the participant must be redirected after the intermediate screen.
redirect_after_secondsRequisinteger
Display delay of the intermediate screen before automatic redirection.
redirect_markdownRequisstring
Markdown message shown during the redirect step to explain the destination or action in progress.
allow_replay_from_hereOptionnelboolean
Allows a participant to restart a replay from this interaction when the process enables that capability. Disable it when repeating the action would be dangerous or misleading.
replay_boundaryOptionnelboolean
Marks this interaction as a replay point of no return to bound earlier steps that can be replayed or reused.

Outputs 2

redirectedboolean
Whether the step triggered the configured redirect.
redirect_urlurl
URL to which the experience redirected the participant.

Behavior

The experience displays the configured Markdown, waits for the delay, then navigates to target_url. The output retains the URL actually used.

Limits and responsibilities

  • Redirection does not prove that the user completed the action on the external site.
  • To wait for a provider return or result, use an external interaction or correlated event rather than concluding from the redirect alone.
